Generation3 instrument support

Generation 3 is the complete renovation of the core product line, encompassing standard loggers; RBRvirtuoso, RBRduo, RBRconcerto, RBRmaestro, compact loggers; RBRsolo, RBRduet, and the standalone sensors, the RBRcoda.
Some key software enhancements include:

  • Simplified deployment interface

  • Battery chemistry selection for internal and external sources

  • Deployment life indicators based on power source

  • Ability to enable/disable the use of Wi-Fi

Charting

The charting engine has been enhanced to provide:

  • Higher fidelity data overview for large datasets

  • Faster display response when accessing large RSK files

  • Grouped event and error navigation

Annotations

Following on from previous annotation support, the look and feel of the annotation has been improved.

  • RSK-3342 - Add and information tooltip on the 'link' widget on the Information page

  • RSK-5598 - Shorten dataset name display in navigator

Bug Fixes

  • RSK-5253 - Dissolved oxygen units are not correctly reflected in the plot axis

  • RSK-5457 - RSK files may be locked while open in Ruskin

  • RSK-5477 - Altimeter simulator doesn’t correctly reflect power requirements

  • RSK-5545 - Channel indices on errors are off by 1 in exports
