2.8.0
Release date: June 13 2019
Notice
This notice pertains to the following instruments:
RBRvirtuoso3, RBRduo3, RBRconcerto3, RBRmaestro3, RBRquartz3, RBRbrevio3, RBRsolo3, and RBRduet3
The notice pertains to the following sampling regimes:
Averaging, Bursting, Tide, or Wave
Recently it was discovered that Generation3 instruments using an intermittent sampling mode (bursting, averaging, tides, and waves) would present incorrect deployment autonomy estimates - the estimates are shorter than actual behaviour. The cause of the discrepancy is due to an incorrect sleep value used in the autonomy engine. Deployments where sampling occurs only for a small fraction of the burst interval are affected most.
